2026 SHOOTER OF THE YEAR RULES

Points for Shooter of the Year are awarded using the following formula

1. 50 points for each HCB Buckle Series shoot participation during the 2026 season (must turn in completed and signed scorecard)

2. 1 point for each competitor you beat in your class

3. 5 points for 1st place, 3 points for 2nd place, 1 point for 3rd place

Examples:
Shooter places 3rd in a 5 person class: 50 (participate) + 1 (3rd place) + 3 (shooters beaten) = 54 points

Shooter places 2nd in a 8 person class:  50 (participate) + 3 (2nd place) + 6 (shooters beaten) = 59 points

Shooter places 4th in a 7 person class: 50 (participate) + 3 (shooters beaten) = 53 points

The shooter with the most points after August 16th will win a “Shooter of the Year” buckle
